Each quality check is conducted in accordance with the European Union’s REACH regulation, which applies to all chemical substances and is aimed at enhancing the protection of human health and the environment against the risks posed by such substances. These procedures enable us to ensure high standards of both textile quality and overall customer satisfaction.
OUR HIGH-QUALITY FABRICS
A dedicated quality-control team
We ensure that each fabric meets regulatory health and quality standards by conducting careful checks on samplings of fabric.
Each fabric is carefully monitored in order to identify any issues immediately and to eliminate any material that does not comply with our quality standards. Our in-house Quality Control unit follows these procedures on a daily basis, including verifying fabric weight, height, color and consistency, as well as its dimensional stability along both warp and weft and its abrasion color fastness.
An extensive system of controls
For years, Urbatex has implemented a quality control system to ensure our fabrics comply with applicable laws and regulations. This quality control system means that, according to a predetermined plan, selected dyed and finished textile products are subjected to laboratory chemical analyses on a sample basis to verify the absence of harmful substances, in accordance with the restrictions of the European REACH Regulation. The fabrics also undergo performance and material quality checks. The implementation of these controls and collaboration with specialized textile laboratories underscore our commitment to make a real contribution to sustainability issues.
